Pap smears

This is a is a medical test that helps doctors figure out if there are any problems with a girl's cervix.

Women should start Pap smear screening at age 21. Between the ages of 21-29, women whose Pap smears are normal only need it repeated every three years


Visual inspection with acetic acid is naked-eye examination of the uterine cervix, after application of 5% acetic acid

Vaginal Inspection with Acetic acid

This is a simple and inexpensive test for the detection of cervical precancerous lesions and early invasive cancer.
